I tried the decal logo this morning and it seems to have worked well.

I see this method as another option to vinyl or laser cut paint masks. I used the logo drawing somebody posted a while back...

I don't know the thickness, but 0.5 mm might be about right. Can be cut with scissors but seems strong enough to ward off most dents, hopefully.
