Last week I went back and tried to re-rig the wings. I ended up having to trim about 3/32" off the inboard half of the rear spar/wing joiners on the right wings to get the wing to align with the...

RE: Fleet Brotherhood

Here's my same post as on the Concept Fleet forum:

First flight yesterday...

Way out of trim and I know it was because of the wing rigging. Also, power was marginal with my Quadra running...

One servo for each elevator half. Servos mounted so that the arms rotate in the same direction, or should I say opposite direction, since the servos rotate counter clockwise for up and clockwise for...

RE: Fleet Brotherhood

Hi folks,

Got the rest of my painting done over the last few weekends. Overall it was 2 coats clear, 1 coat Rand-o-fil, three coats color and 1 or 2 coats clear.

RE: Fleet Brotherhood

I tried the decal logo this morning and it seems to have worked well.

I see this method as another option to vinyl or laser cut paint masks. I used the logo drawing somebody posted a while back...

Bob,

No, mine are all round with 4-40 threads on one end.

Boy, if you have a chance to look at the guy's website in Switzerland that Mien Duff provided, there are some fabulous looking...

Thanks for the encouragement. I keep thinking I could've built 10 "Stiks" in this amount of time.

As far as the struts, on the top ends they are aluminum sheet pieces set into a slot sawn in...

Joe,

That's a beautiful airplane and easily worth the amount you're asking. As Bob said, you may have to wait for the right buyer.

Meanwhile, I'm struggling on building mine and it seems...

RE: Fleet Brotherhood

Your pitot tubes look great. I don't think anybody will care about the extra flying wires. There probably is a Fleet with such a mod, or could be. One thing I notice is that every Fleet I look at...

RE: Fleet Brotherhood

I went to Home Despot and found some aluminum duct material. It's a 4 inch duct, used for dryer vents, I think. $3.88 per sheet which I think is 12 in by 24 in. I bought 2.

The larger piece...
