I understand where you are coming from with the transition from idle to full. Give the idle a tweak and sea how it goes and if it works fine keep it there if not I'm stuck for Ideas,...

G'day
in regards to the AX try richening your low speed a minute amount this will help stop the backfire. I had this problem so I richened up the bottom end a smidgen and works fine now.

G'day
I just got my 120 ax started. it sounds like a minny harley with a 16x6 prop and the bisson muffler. running rich. starts on one back flip.:D

Well compared to my 4 os engines and only engines woodworm and R/Cdawg have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy more than me.[X(]
