I just remembered that a friend gave me a .10 and a .15 a while back - knowing that I like little engines. I "think" they are crossflow engines. Like everything Bob Welch owns/owned, they are in pristine condition. Thanks, Bob.

As someone else was kind enough to add in their post, I have not had a serious problem of any type with any of them. Not a one of them had to go back for warranty work.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head. Needless to say, I like OS engines.

James, the head on the .46 is from Davis Diesel Developement and the head on the .65 is by AJCoholic in Canada, both were very good glow engines. The .65 vibrated a little at 12,000 as a glow engine but is silky smooth turning a 13x8 three blade at 9,000 as a Diesel. These are my first OS engines since starting RC in 1990 and I can say with confidence their quality and performance is exemplary.

Carter, I bet you don't get much feedback on O.S. 1.20 AX. You're one of the pioneers and will be giving us info in a few days. Just put a prop at the low end of the recommended range as far as load goes, and have at it. I envy you having the new engine to tinker with. Let us know how it runs.

FS 40 S C at least four of them, two are shelf queens, could probably make another with all the parts I've got....

Hello; I have a few. The one I use the most is an old OS 90 four stroke on my four star 60, I have two of them, others are;
3 OS 26 surpass' I have enough parts to build another one.
OS 48 surpass
2 OS 70 surpass
Os 91 surpass

I also have a few two strokes as well, though I haven't used them for years; I FP25 and a FP 40 which was my first (half decent) two stroke.

I've pretty much gone over to Saito, but I like the way my old FS90 swings a big stick.

I have purchased a new OS .61 FX which I will be installing on a Top Flite Contender that I am building. Do you have any prop suggestions and should I break it in first or break it in while flying?

I a currently flying a Hangar 9 Alpha 60 trainer with a Evolution .61. I did not break it in (supposedly broken in at the factory??) and I have had flawless performance with it.

Any hints or ideas would be appreciated. This is my first OS.

I just got my 120 ax started. it sounds like a minny harley with a 16x6 prop and the bisson muffler. running rich. starts on one back flip.

it was intended for a warbird but I got talked into a four stroke for it..so now I'm trying to find a good airframe to put it to use!

The problem with my LOVE with these engines is not regional,or anything like that...[:'(]
Just don't want them close to my planes!
I think my OS is a very good choice!
But what i say,
OS engines are always good choices...

Well KO, I have 111 engines at the moment and only two of them are OSs and 13 of them are MDSs which I use and like.
