Yes I now use house paint (Latex) on all my aircraft: I have been clear coating with "warbird Colors Satin" Its water based and sprays very well

Careful with that "Lustercoat" We reffer to it as "Lustercrap" at our field. One guy used it on his 1/4 scale cub, sitting in his van on a hot day it ran (yes ran like dripped) and turned brown

Shoot I'm in. I built and flew one back in 1987 (see pic in the other thread) have one actively fly now (actually flew it today) and have a new one in the box to build
