My latest creation. All paint/carbon fiber is done in house. The J&G is now gone and Quickdraw 25 is now in there

That's the baddest boat I have ever seen, especially that paint job. What kind of hull is it?

Hey Kevwil2, just wondering if you painted that boat. It looks great. Also, wonder who painted the Team Virgin. Thanx

Ware House hobbies is the best Gas RC Boat. I just bought a Super G and it runs like a dream. If you need anymore info go to WHobbies.com and if your looking to get the Super G it's the best boat for the money.

The bonzi sports hulls and hardware are very nice but a little overpriced. Warehouse hobbies are very nice and consistent hulls and hardware, and user friendly. Bonzi seems to offer a lot more options, though, jacks the price up. Just my .02 cents.

sounds like 2 for warehouse. Thanks guys. Had just heard a few people say that bonzi's hulls are thin and are not real good quality.

I almost bought a 51" Baja from them but I heard from a few other people that their hulls are pretty thin. I heard this from a guy who claimed he bought the 84" Apache with twin 70cc qd's and on the first time out in 4" chop he got a web of spider cracks in the hull. That is why I shyed away from them, warehouse hobbies is very nice anyways.

Hmm, now I really want a gas boat! You know, I live in Seattle. Yes, the Emerald city, which should really be called the CITY OF LAKES!!! You'd figure people would have caught on by now, but noooo. Hardly anyone uses r/c boats up here. We have a scale hydroplane racing club up here, but they're too spread out across the whole state. With all the wealth here, I'm surprised we don't have a scale hydroplane club here where the boats are powered by jetcat turboshaft engines converted to boat power!!! [&:] If only I had the $$$....

Time to ebay I guess, either that, or go to the Puyallup expo this coming year.

The cool thing is, I'm getting my first airbrush setup soon, so hopefully I can make some real nice paint jobs for both planes and boats. Iwata HP-SB plus, with a portable air compressor.

well when you get something to paint let us know and post some pics. then you can help me with my questions, cause i've got an airbrush and i have a better chance of putting my eye out with it than creating any impressive paint job. i gave up and used spray paint. looks good but i had dillusions of doing stuff like kevwill2's works of art, but instead it looked like something that a baboon did. or that elephant that paints with his trunk, kinda like that.

The Puyallup R/C show last year was great.
I just bought my first big scale boat, I have been running 1/5 buggys for a while now and have always wanted a boat for all the lakes around here.
We need more boaters around here to many areas to run them just nobody doing it..
