RE: SHOW US YOUR GAS BOATS!
Now here is a shot of my own boat. As you can see I have the Ms. Circus Circus hydro. If you look close enough I even got a couple of hot babes to pose with the boats
Thought I would add a shot of my remote control wave runner........she's a runner![8D]
Lastly, I used my Cajon Gator Airboat down in New Orleans as a rescue boat after Katrina......I could get were others couldn't. Items like cell phones, wallets, jewlery, and other expensive things could be loaded on and then brought out to the rescue workers. Bush himself watched me preform several rescue operations and immediatley offered me a job at FEMA!

RE: SHOW US YOUR GAS BOATS!
nice boats guys! is that an insane boat zac? that thing looks like a wicked fast mono! suckmywake, you flew to N.O. for rescue ops? what kind of places where you using that airboat? that sounds a story the news should do a segment on. i can tell that all of us here on the gulf coast appreciate the efforts of people who come from all over to lend a hand in times of need! hopefully rita will weaken and spare the people of texas and they will not have to suffer the same results as la, al, and ms.

Hey Davcruz, Yeah I still have my TL1000s. I was thinking about selling it cause I need the money. Know any body that might be interested?
I just pulled my toy out of the closet and thought I would get her running. I thought I recognised your screen name. What kind of boat are you running. Oh and how far back sould I be mounting my 30cc motor. I have been tole that 28-30 deg angle but not where in the hull it should be mounted. My old boat was an Alien Shuttle. Its a flat drag hull though and not a deep vee so I wasnt sure if I should use the same locaton or should it be more back in the deep vee. Hopefully I can get the info here. I have already found a member in RI that has the exact same hull. I guess he is out of state right now but he said he would contace me soon. Glad to see that there are good people here as well as the planet. Im very happy so far with both sites.

RE: SHOW US YOUR GAS BOATS!
i have always heard and read that you want as little angle or bend in the flex shaft as possible to minimize power robbing friction in the shaft log. i have never heard of a set angle to shoot for.

There is an excellent thread going at JRCBD.com on setting a motor based on the COG of your boat. You should check it out, very helpful. I also thought I recognized your screen name, your bike looks as nice as ever, I really miss mine...

Not only does the friction rob you of power, but the shaft heats up more and will fail much sooner. The straighter you can keep it the better

Not looking for another TL right now, maybe a dedicated SV650 track bike though. I don't think they allow linking to other forums on here, but do a search for JRCBD and it should take you to the site, the thread is in the pics forum. Or you can email me and I will give it to you.

RE: SHOW US YOUR GAS BOATS!
Hi Bdud, Dragon, lzvagias, and Frog. Thanks for the compliments and sorry for the slow responses - Just arrived in Australia after spending some time in Shanghai (challenging access from there!!). Sadly all the boats are in storage now and I wont be seeing any of them for at least six months (which is not as bad as it sounds considering the lakes will be frozen for 3-4 of those months).
I was trying to sell a few of them including the Scorpion though just ran out of time. I will probably list a few on Jims or E-bay when I get home and organized (likely Mid 2006). While I am in Australia I will be doing some shopping for a few more boats - can never have too many - Right !!
Looking forward to seeing a few more of your boats up here. Love seeing what everyones running and looking at new ways of doing things !!
