Nothing fancy but its what I got. It is a bonzi Edge. The running shots are before I got the tuned pipe. The pipe made it look like crap I think.[]

Look what I got in the mail today from Germany, It’s the Cayman by MHZ words simply cannot describe the quality and beauty of the boat it’s made entirely out of carbon Kevlar. I had it made by this very talented boat builder named Thomas Homberger, we had a language barrier he didn’t realize I wanted it finished and I was stuck with a unfinished boat but all was not lost Andre Abtmeyer one of the nicest guys you will ever meet completed the boat and had it shipped to me in Florida. Its 95% done I only have to install the Z Drive and put in the engine and then I will post some pictures for you guys

ac18, i have a friend who has an actual Cigarette and he also owns an autobody shop, so i had him paint the boat and asked him to get scale cigarette decals from Cigarette directly. I am very happy with how the boat came out.

I have a Cigarette and have some decals but Cigarette does not make the small decals to fit on the side of my RC Aeromarine 43 Challenger.

Doug, it took you LONG ENOUGH to get that bad boy. [X(]

Speaking of which, when you gonna give us a holler son? Get a chance let it ring this weekend will ya'? We've got other things to talk about now that your sweetheart is home. Btw, I'll give your best to Andre when I see him again in two weeks. LOL.

I sure would like to see a picture of our 24" gas boat. Especially if it works. I like the unique stuff. I might be interested in it if you are trying to reduce your fleet.

It looks like you put a gas engine in a twin nitro rigger hull. I am curious about how it performs. I almost did that and then CMD came out with their Gas Eagle (my favorite boat!)

That twin rigger hull has a Mathe 35 motor in it. A very big motor - even when side by side with a QD35. I have never had much run time with it or got all the bugs out yet.

The 24" hull is still a work in progress. It was an old electric vee though I have tested it floating with a Zen in her and it stays up right and quite bouyant. Unfortunately she is in storage now and no closeups in my pic collection.

No offense to mugshot, but he has a thread trying to figure out why his header pipe broke. Probably not a good one to copy! What you did doesn't look too bad, but if your engine is mounted in rubber isolators, your pipe coupler is rigid and your pipe support does not have any rubber connection points, you may end up with a fatigue cracked header as well.

I'll bet that the rigger with the heavy, high torque engine is a challenge to launch. Probably likes to cavitate the prop instead of pushing the hull up on plane? My Eagle will do that when I have the Texas cut props that I modify for SAW.

Good luck with it and your compact gasser as well.
