It all depends on the distance required from the firewall to the spinner's backplate to clear the cowling

I had my DLE in a 8lbs extra 300 swinging a 17.6 and the bird made me discover a new way of flying! It is called vertical acceleration ahahaha so cool

On a previous dle 20 installation i needed the firewall to be partially removed to get room for the carb.the only issue is that it is much harder to
gain acces to the mixture screws. I love that...

i got my plans printed out for my own bipe!!! Now i will need to find a landing gear! and sort out all the wood and ply required to build my bipe.i found the cowling and canopy...
