The Kadet Senior can become a decent sport aerobat, when ailerons are added and some dihedral removed. I'm sure that you will be pleased with your decision.

My feeling is that if you intend to fly with ailerons, later on, build them into this project. My Kadet Seniors all have ailerons. I wouldn't want them any other way.:)
