That has to be the best looking scheme I have seen on an Ultimate...I will probably use a similar scheme on mine.

I agree completely, especially the 'old technology'. I have found that today's ARFs are very light, and well built, but the plywood that they are cut from is very brittle.

Great price, but he says he won't ship. The radio is basically useless, and it probably has the S148 servos in the airframe. Don't get me wrong, those were great servos, but I have lost great flying...

That is one beautiful bird. I haven't started my build yet, and Ihave been lurking in this forum for about 1 year looking for ideas, of which there are many.

When my packs start to react like this, Icycle them with my smart charger for 3 cycles and look for an increase in charge and discharge mAh rates. Ihave had batteries come back with no problems...

I really love the Ultimate 10-300 from any manufacturer, but the Carl Goldberg is the first Ultimate that Isaw fly (back in the early 90's). I have another ultimate that fly's great! It is an Ohio...

My wife is still learning to fly via the Aerofly simulator. I was going to put her in the air with my 96" telemaster, but it met it's fate while tangling with a power line during a failed RX battery...
