Stripped own and fiber glassed, vacuum formed my own sliding canopy and framework, Covered...

As I recall ( mine is already buttoned up ) that the Robart style pin hinges were about 1 1/4 " into the aileron....but not 100% sure.

Mine seemed to line up OK, although there was quite a gap between wing and fuse when all locked down, filled all that in with balsa sheets.
Seems like everybody has had bad flap hinge point...

Spit66...Thanks for chiming in !....I reinforced the rear inside of the firewall with 3/8 ply and then lined both insides of the forward fuse area about 6 inches up to the fire wall with 4mm Marine...
