Low Rate = 1 1/8"
High Rate = 1 1/2"

No more so than any other plane....It's a sound design for sure...It's "old technology" so to speak so I would say it's a tad more durable than some of todays aircraft...

I have a ST G2300 that I flew with a Bisson Muffler, not sure how that compares?? I remember having to really adjust (lean) the low speed needle, it seemed abnormal but I kept going in 1/8 increments...
