1 bolt front and back should be enough, I'm using 6mm nylon bolts on mine (not ARF) and it has been uneventful since its first flight over 10 years ago. Never had to replace the bolts.

Jeff, keep in mind that the CG recommendation from Goldberg is a very conservative one. I fly mine with the CG around 12 cm behind the LE of the top wing. Where does your currently balance out?

That is such a sweet way of attaching the struts. If I ever rebuild my wings I will definitively do it your way.

With the original 4 screws per side I just tend to leave the struts attached on...
