The retracts are the stock Robart's and are 100 degrees.

Spence, the gloss sea blue color came to life with the F4U-1D variant which is what this is. From VF-17 aboard the USS Bunker Hill in Feb 1944. Should not be flat.

Now with that the gloss blue...

Yep, David Payne's.

Mike McConville's is 183.

And Bill Brundle's is 158 I think.

All the differnt numbers are included on the decal sheet.

We sized it for the DA50 engine as well and it fits without much sticking out of the cowl. Should bolt up easily which would mean the DLE-55 should fit without issue. Both engines should power the...

Elevator and rudder control is internal as is the flap system. The only external control horns are on the ailerons.

This Corsair is dead on in outline and performance. I would love to detail one out for you guys as well. Right now it is not in the cards for me to do I am sorry to say.

Prototypes took lead in the nose. Pretty standard for any scale corsair. Byron's used to take between 1-2 pounds. This one is in the 1 pound arena of lead in the nose.

The FG57 works well. I believe the FG84 will fit but have not checked as I don't have one.

No wheels with the kit. It is set up for the Robart 5 inch tires.

The landing gear are special units from Robart with a Hangar 9 part number. They are based on the 150 design.

Hey Dean,

They are operated with small servos. Or you can just cut the wheel opening and have a hole for the wheel like the old Byron program. Choice is yours. Dean, this one is really sweet!!!!!
