Rustoleum/Krylon and it has stayed on when running the .56 Saito. It does wear some in handling but once you mount it permanently that problem is solved.

DINO, the Kadet is one of the most commonly modified designs on the market. Short of turning it into a lawn dart at full throttle there is not much you can do to make it unflyable.
