I am also wondering about the springs in oleos, they should be less stiff.. I will look into replacing them.

I am a bit concerned by the lack of give in the oleos. Even full of fuel, it takes a lot of downward pressure on the model to get the oleos to start to compress.
They are the Top RC oleos.
Anyone else had this problem & bad effects on landing?
its really fine.
fly and have fun.

Flew the Odyssey for the first time today. Turbine Jetcat P130. Cortex gyro at 50%. FRSky Horus 10S Tx, 2 X8R Rx's & an RB-20 redundancy bus. Everything went well. Most of the flights were at less than half throttle. Had five flights & got everything set up as I like. It is a really nice model to fly once you get it set up.
I found the suggested aileron throws too much for me & the first flight was interesting as a result.
It certainly is a floater, even with 70mm flap & 12mm of crow. I may increase the flap to 80mm.

Is that a stock paint job or custom?

It's stock. It's the Honda race scheme.

It's one of the stock schemes, but not the Honda.
This the Honda scheme.

Applying some decals certainly improves the look of the Odyssey.

JMB luxemburg has a black Friday deal on the Odyssey. You can get one for 1,249 Euros. Deal only valid for today.

Hello.....
I am in the slow process of building my KT160 powered Odyssey and have a question. Is there an ideal dimension the turbines exhaust snout should enter the thrust tube?
TIA

I run between 1-1.5 inches from the pipe beginning.

The pipe beginning is the stainless steel and not the bell

I was asked if the bell is a different metal from the pipe... any thoughts?

I set my KT160 at 1 inch before the pipe, not the bell. Works perfect for me. That is one inch between the exhaust tip and the straight section of the pipe.

Got this jet on my short list. Looks to be of decent quality and priced right. Would be powered with a sw160b or 170.

I have a Sw140b from Andy at CRX in mine. I could not be happier with the performance.

I'll be looking to do a package deal with him when I'm ready to buy, since he's a TopRC dealer. Bought all three of my current swiwins from him.

Andy is a real good guy, I’m sure he will take care of you. I have 2 of his motors. I had an issue with one at about the 2.5hr mark. He swapped it out for a new one under warranty. He also has the JTM stuff. I have been eyeballing either the l39 or the viper. Just can’t find much current info on them.

Is JTM still in business making jets?
